These Terms govern the use of DriveLog by driving schools, instructors, and learners who interact with the platform.

Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using DriveLog, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

These Terms apply to driving instructors and driving schools using DriveLog, and also to learner drivers who submit information through DriveLog registration forms.

Our Service

DriveLog is a software platform for driving schools to manage learner records, lesson records, booking details, audit-ready compliance records, and related operational workflows.

  • Student registration and record keeping
  • Lesson and test booking management
  • Uploaded booking confirmation storage
  • Google Calendar and Google Contacts integrations
  • Audit and compliance support for participating driving schools

Eligibility

You may use DriveLog only if you are legally permitted to do so. If you use DriveLog on behalf of a driving school or business, you confirm that you are authorised to act on its behalf.

Accounts and Access

Instructor access to DriveLog may require authentication through supported sign-in methods, including Google Sign-In.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must not share access credentials in an unsafe manner
  • You are responsible for activities that occur under your account
  • You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access

Google Integrations

Where enabled, DriveLog uses Google APIs to support instructor workflows, including calendar event creation and contact saving. These integrations are used only for the functions clearly described in our Privacy Policy.

DriveLog’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

User Responsibilities

You agree not to misuse DriveLog. You must ensure that information entered into the platform is accurate and lawful to collect and store.

  • Do not upload false, misleading, or unlawful information
  • Do not attempt to access another school’s data
  • Do not interfere with platform security or availability
  • Do not use DriveLog for spam, abuse, or unrelated marketing

Data and Privacy

Your use of DriveLog is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you acknowledge that personal information may be collected, stored, and processed as described there.

Service Availability

We aim to keep DriveLog available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, outages, third-party service failures, or security events may affect availability from time to time.

Fees and Billing

Where paid plans apply, the relevant pricing, subscription terms, and billing arrangements will be communicated separately within the platform or by direct agreement. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started.

If you are not yet charging for DriveLog, you can keep this section as-is for now.

Intellectual Property

DriveLog, including its software, design, branding, workflows, and content, is owned by or licensed to DriveLog / DRIVE LOG AUSTRALIA and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You receive a limited right to use the platform for its intended business purpose. You do not receive ownership of the software or underlying intellectual property.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DriveLog is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the platform.

You remain responsible for how you use DriveLog in your own business operations, including any regulatory or record-keeping obligations that apply to your driving school.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the platform, create security risk, or use DriveLog unlawfully. You may stop using DriveLog at any time.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of DriveLog after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising in connection with DriveLog will be subject to the courts of New South Wales, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
